BEHIND MYEM

A personal project.
A shared resource.

JK LeeEmergency Physician · Sarawak, Malaysia

MyEM is my collection of emergency medicine web apps—for exploring ideas, teaching others, and supporting clinical practice.

I create these apps using AI, drawing on my clinical experience and interest in teaching. The aim is simple: to make emergency medicine education and useful tools freely available and accessible.

AI helps turn ideas into working tools. Clinical input and review remain part of the process, but neither human review nor AI assistance eliminates the possibility of errors. Questions, corrections, and thoughtful feedback are welcome.

Independent, with no brand endorsement
MyEM is a personal, independent project, not affiliated with or sponsored by any commercial company. References to brands, machines, manufacturers, or familiar interfaces are for explanation and illustration. They do not imply endorsement, recommendation, preference, or manufacturer approval. MyEM does not speak on behalf of my employer or any professional organisation.
Intended use & limitations
Each app has its own intended purpose and limitations. Simulations simplify real physiology and equipment behaviour and are for education. Clinical support tools support professional judgement; they do not replace clinical assessment, training, current guidance, or local protocols. Review the licensing and terms within each app. Report suspected errors through Contact & feedback.
Free access & privacy
The apps are free to use, with no hidden charges. Any app-specific data collection or transmission is disclosed in that app’s privacy information. This directory has no analytics, advertising, account system, or tracking cookies added by MyEM. Its app icons load from the linked MyEM app sites. Hosting services process technical connection data to deliver the website. Local storage, anonymous statistics, notifications, and remote pairing differ between apps; read the individual notices.
Source code, licensing & reuse
MyEM is committed to making its app source code inspectable on GitHub. Repository links will be added here as they are published. In the meantime, contact me about source access.

Original code is intended for release under Apache License 2.0 and original educational content under CC BY 4.0, except where stated otherwise. Check each app’s actual licence and third-party notices before reuse.

Translations are welcome with attribution and must be clearly marked as unofficial and not reviewed or endorsed by MyEM. Modified forks must use distinct branding and must not imply MyEM approval. Third-party material retains its own rights.
